The Endowed Lecture Series

In 2002, an endowment fund was established with one $50,000 grant. This fund was used to create the Endowed Lecture Series. Each year, the Endowed Lecture Series enables SUNY Upstate Medical University to bring to Syracuse a leading expert in breast cancer to lecture on new developments in treating the disease. The content of the lectures is directed toward physicians. The lectures inspire additional research locally and assure that the medical community is kept up to date on new breast cancer information. The community is welcome to attend the lectures.

Each lecture is dedicated in loving celebration of a breast cancer survivor from Central New York.
